Sayyidina Hasan Secondary School held its Student Excellence Award over the weekend. The event saw the presentation of appreciation to SPE and GCE 'O' Level teachers. Present as the guest of honour was Awang Zaman bin Haji Gapar, Acting Director of Schools, Department of Schools, Ministry of Education.

Themed 'Guru Pemangkin, Insan Berwawasan', the ceremony was initiated with the national anthem followed by a recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa. There was also a recitation of versus from the Al-Quran by a Year 11 student, Awang Muhammad Ridhwan @ Abu Hurairah bin Mohd Ismail.

Several recognitions were presented at the ceremony by the guest of honour, namely the Excellent Awards to students who excelled in the 2015 'O' Level exam, Overall Excellent Student Award and appreciation awards to teachers.
