More than 8-thousand recipients of His Majesty's personal gifts brought to more than 18-thousand the total number of recipients from all the four districts. For recipients, no words can describe other than gratitude towards Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala for blessing the country with a Monarch who cares for his subjects' welfare and well-being. For the recipients of the personal gifts of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, such bestowal has its meaningful significance.

The presence of recipients at Istana Nurul Iman as early as at six in the morning ensured the management of His Majesty's personal gifts ran smoothly. A special transport service was provided to bring the recipients to the Istana Nurul Iman.

The recipients registered themselves, taking with them documents such as birth certificates and smart identity cards. A systematic management and cooperation from all parties expedited the registration process. Recipients were also given identity passes according to their respective categories.

To facilitate the process of exchanging coupons for cash, several counters of Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam Berhad, BIBD, were provided for the recipients. It is hoped that the personal gifts from His Majesty for the underprivileged groups can enliven their Hari Raya celebration in happiness.

Before leaving Istana Nurul Iman, recipients were also given souvenirs. The personal gifts of His Majesty will surely bring happiness and cheer for the recipients. Other than being used for Hari Raya preparations, some recipients chose to keep the bestowal for future use, while others will use them for their family and children's spending.
