"Kumpulan Bertindak A'Team" For Secondary Schools Nationwide Final Competition

The Katok Secondary school has emerged as the champion in the Final competition of "Kumpulan Bertindak A'Team" for secondary schools nationwide 2016-2017 with an oratory titled "Aku Ingin Maju". The competition was held this morning at Sayyidina Abu Bakar Secondary school hall in Lambak Kanan National Housing Scheme. The competition was participated by 31 schools and only 7 schools were selected to the Final. Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit Secondary Arabic Religious School and Pengiran Anak Puteri Hajah Masna Secondary School came in second and third respectively. Meanwhile, the Best Exhibition category was won by the Pengiran Anak Puteri Hajah Masna Secondary School. Prizes were presented by Awang Haji Sharifuddin bin Haji Mohd Salleh, the Acting Senior Special Duties Officer, Ministry of Education. The competition carrying the theme 'Sekolahku Inspirasiku' was one of the programmes organised by the Counselling and Career Unit of Student Affairs section, Schools Department. It acts as platform that the Compulsory Education Act. The competition among other things aimed to instil awareness among the community specifically the students, on the importance of their school attendance in order to achieve excellence in their studies.
