The local film industry continues to be developed with collaboration between Brunei Darussalam and the Lao People's Democratic Republic. This is proven with the production of a film entitled 'RINA 2', involving artistes from both countries. The movie made its premiere last night at Times Cineplex.

The movie was launched by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. 'RINA 2' is a joint production of Syarikat Regalblue Production, Brunei Darussalam and Lao Art Media Company Limited. Among those present were the Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and High Commissioners of foreign countries to Brunei Darussalam. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Lao People's Democratic Republic to Brunei Darussalam in an interview said that the production of the film does not only show close collaboration between both countries but is also to promote the culture of the two nations. Screening of 'RINA 2' will begin tomorrow at Times Cineplex in the Tutong and Belait Districts.
