People who read Al-Quran have many advantages that include being rewarded ten folds for every letter they read.  As part of measures towards teaching adults to read Al-Quran with tarannum or melody, the Muhammad salleh Main Mosque in Bangar Town, Temburong held a Quran reading musabaqah for adults last night.

The event was an annual project of the mosque with the intention to enhance the participants' reading quality and giving them experience in competition.   Awang Mohammad Zulhelmi bin Awang Haji Zulahia was the winner, while Awang Mohammad Akmal bin Haji Ali and Pengiran Najib bin Pengiran Haji Osman were the first and second runners-up.  Prizes were presented by Awang HAJI Mozni bin HAJI Anuar, the RTB Temburong District Station Manager.
