Five families involved in house fires at Kampung Bakut Pengiran Siraja Muda 'A', Kampung Rimba National Housing Scheme, and Kampung Lambak Kanan National Housing Scheme recently, received donations from Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah worth 23 thousand one hundred dollars. From the five families, three families from Kampung Bakut Pengiran Siraja Muda 'A' received the donations this afternoon at the residence of the Penghulu Mukim Peramu.

Donations were presented by Dato Paduka Awang Eddie bin Dato Paduka Haji Sani, the Managing Director of Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah. Such donations are being continuously implemented from time to time. This is in line with the function of the Yayasan in channelling charitable and welfare contributions from His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, and His Majesty's family as a sign of the Monarch's care and love for his subjects. Meanwhile, donations in the form of financial assistance to a family in Kampung Rimba National Housing Scheme and another family in Kampung Lambak Kanan National Housing Scheme were also handed over at their respective residence.
