​The delicious taste of traditional local cooking can attract tourists to the country. Among them is the 'sesagun'. In dry powder form, sesagun is a blend of sago, coconut and sugar. The favourite way to eat it is with bananas, but it can also be eaten with certain types of local kuih-muih. The kuih-muih is the Malay generic name for cakes, biscuits and pastries. A special visitor who talked favourably of the Sesagun is Her Excellency Nurul Qomar, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotientary of the Republic of Indonesia to Brunei Darussalam who talked to the RTB News Crew during a recent Tutong River Cruise. 

Eight packages have been introduced as part of the initiative to promote Tutong District as an attractive and sustainable tourist location. The Tutong Tourist Destination Package is a joint venture between the Tourism Development Department and the Tutong District Tourism Coordination and Promotion Body.   It acts as a platform that promotes village products and community activities in line with its aspiration to promote local products and to further develop the district's tourism industry.

One of them is Syarikat Sinar Tour Sendirian Berhad has chosen the Tutong River Cruise Package that includes enjoying the sunset and dinner at the Pantaran Seri Melati Jetty. It has among the choices of Korean visitors to the country as added value to the country's tourism infrastructure.
