The Single Point Mooring (SPM) maintenance works for the Brunei Methanol Company (BMC) will commence on the 28th August until 27th October 2017. It is recognised that it can cause restrictions to safety of navigators.

The Department of Marine hereby advises boats and vessels to keep clear from the SPM by more than 500 meters and to stay clear from the involved vessels by more than 250 meters during towing. Horn sound signal will be used in the event of danger. Mariners are required to navigate with caution and to keep away in a safe distance from operation site and commensurate with good seamen-ship while in the vicinity of the operation site.
