Awang Muhd Amirul Husaini bin Moksin and Dayang Nur Tajwiida Insyirah binti Haji Isa, the Qari and Qariah  representatives from Sayyidina Hasan Secondary School emerged champions respectively in the Final of the 33rd Tilawah Al-Quran For Secondary Schools and Colleges Nationwide. The competition was held this morning at Sayydina Hasan Secondary School's Hall.

Prizes were presented by Dato Seri Setia Doktor Awang Haji Japar bin Haji Mat Dain@Maidin, the Deputy State Mufti. 5 Qari and 5 Qariah from 9 secondary schools and colleges competed in the final.  The competition was organised by Co-Curriculum Department, Ministry of Education through Spiritual Unit. Also present were, Doctor Haji Azman bin Haji Ahmad, the Acting Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Education; and Dayang Nadia Lee Siew Hoon binti Abdulah, the Deputy Permanent Secretary for Core Education at the Ministry of Education.
