​The Laksamana College of Business, L.C.B once again made history when nearly 600 graduates received their diplomas and certificates at a Graduation Ceremony this morning. Such a ceremony proved that the college is capable of producing graduates who are knowledgeable in various fields that will surely raise the number of quality workforce in line with the country's need.

 

Diplomas and certificates were presented to the graduates by Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Bahrom bin Pengiran Haji Bahar, Deputy Minister of Education. L.C.B is a joint venture between Abdul Razak Holdings Brunei and the Kensington College of Business, London. The college was established in 2003 and provides business courses in the country. Since its establishment, the college has produced over 3 thousand 700 graduates. From the figure, more than 500 students have furthered their studies at several universities in the United Kingdom.

 

584 Diploma and Certificate recipients comprised of those who took various courses including the University Foundation Course, Hospitality Management, Business and Computing and Systems Development. It is the Ministry of Education's aspiration to witness education institutions such as LCB to assist the government in training the youth, by providing them the opportunity to pursue higher education.
