His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, the Minister of Defence and the Supreme Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces consents to a new change of policy for the training and recruitment of Officer Cadets in the country's efforts to enhance the effectiveness of training.

His Majesty delivered the Titah at the Sovereign's Parade Ceremony at the Parade Ground of the Defence Academy, the Royal Brunei Armed Forces this morning. His Majesty says today's Sovereign's Parade is more significant because it takes place on the threshold of Hari Raya Aidil Adha which is also known as Hari Raya Korban. This further strengthens the concept and objective of the Officer Cadets School to produce officers who truly understand and assimilate the meaning of sacrifice.
