​Blessings are referred to as Allah's rewards which certainly bring about continuous goodness and well-being to mankind's life. When it is based on blessed countries, the country is the one receiving the rewards bestowed by Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala. Allah's rewards are in the form of peace and tranquillity, with unending blessings until the people can enjoy a prosperous life. This is among the contents of the lecture during the 'Masjidku Makmur, Negara Berkat' programme at Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Mosque in the capital early yesterday .

The programme commenced with Mass Fardhu Subuh prayer. Present was Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohamad Yussof, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. The Dawn Lecture entitled 'Negara Berkat' or Blessed Country was delivered by Awang Haji Shari bin Haji Naim, Senior Religious Officer. Also present were Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohd Daud, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs; Dato Seri Setia Haji Abdul Aziz bin Orang Kaya Maharaja Lela Haji Mohd Yussof, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs; and Awang Roslan bin Haji Taja'ah, Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
