8 students with hearing impairment from several schools yesterday received hearing aids at a ceremony organised by the Special Education Unit.

The hearing aids were presented by Awang Haji Ali Yusri bin Haji Abdul Ghafor, the Acting Head of Special Education Unit, the Ministry of Education. The DST and Huawei Technologies each donated 2 sets of hearing aid, while PAR Corporation Sendirian Berhad donated one set and Hear Better Services Company donated 3 sets. Also held was a Mini Exhibition On Hearing by Hear Better Services Company. The project is an initiative of Dayang Noorafzah binti Ahmad, the company's General Manager and the fifth one held.
