BERAKAS

On the morals of the students, His Majesty reminds the teachers and parents to be good examples to the young ones.  In this regard His Majesty stresses that the students' good morals are more important compared to academic achievements and thus should not be neglected.  In the titah, His Majesty emphasises that teachers are directly responsible for the students' moral development.  Their role is not only to enrich knowledge resources but also to be examples to their students.

In the titah, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam also stresses students' competence.  His Majesty points out that the country's participation in the Programme for International Student Assessment, PISA, is also a challenge to the level of the teachers' capacity.
