Creative Space yesterday hosted its first ever Art Jam at the Creative Space Art Gallery and Studio in Sengkurong.

The Art Jam, which is open to the public, is part of the ongoing 'Emerge' art project, which involves creating collaborative art pieces on set canvasses and the studio walls as well as promoting creativity and imagination in the art industry.

The event also saw the participation of other artists and galleries such as Dato Paduka Haji Shofry bin Haji Abdul Ghafor from Rainforest Gallery.

The 'Art Jam' is an ongoing monthly event to create 'public art', as part of the gallery's Emerge campaign. The campaign supports Brunei's young emerging artists by showcasing their talent through several exhibitions.

The 'Art Jam' sessions will be held every month throughout the year, and will culminate with the auctioning of the public art pieces. The proceeds of the auction will go to charity and Will help sustain the gallery's exhibitions under the Emerge project.
