Conversion Ceremony For Indonesian-Chinese man

The eminence of Islam in the country shines brighter with the increase in the number of converts choosing Islam as their life's belief. Last night, an Indonesian-Chinese man embraced Islam as his new faith. The Conversion ceremony was held at the residence of Awang Haji Suhaili @ Suiali bin Ahmad at the Kampung Tungku Landless Indigenous Citizens Housing Scheme.

 

40-year old, Awang Jumadi Bun is now known as Awang Muhammad Alim Shah bin Abdullah. The conversion ceremony was conducted by officers of the Islamic Dakwah Centre. From January to August this year, 292 people have embraced Islam in the country, with 174 from the Brunei Muara District.
