His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Pemancha Pengiran Anak Haji Mohamed Alam yesterday received in separate audiences His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales, and Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall, at Istana Nurul Iman.

At Istana Nurul Iman, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri welcomed Their Royal Highnesses. His Majesty received in audience His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales. Accompanying His Royal Highness was His Excellency Richard Lindsay, the British High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam. Also present were; Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Setia Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Rahman bin Haji Ibrahim, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance as the Minister-in-Attendance; and Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Dewa Dato Seri Setia Lim Jock Seng, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

In another part of Istana Nurul Iman, Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri received in audience Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cornwall. Accompanying Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri was Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Rashidah Sa'adatul Bolkiah. Accompanying Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cornwall was Mrs. Xanthe Lindsay, spouse of the British High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam.
