His Majesty held a bilateral meeting with His Excellency Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of the Republic of India, yesterday morning. The bilateral meeting was held at the Philippines International Convention Centre (PICC). During the bilateral meeting, His Majesty and the Prime Minister of the Republic of India discussed on the current issues and exchanged views on regional and international concerns including cooperation between Brunei Darussalam and Republic of India.

Accompanying the Prime Minister of the Republic of India were His Excellency Ajit Doval, National Security Adviser of the Republic of India; His Excellency Dr. S. Jaishankar, Foreign Secretary; Her Excellency Preeti Saran, Secretary (East), Ministry of External Affairs (MEA); and His Excellency Suresh K. Reddy, Ambassador of the Republic of India to ASEAN. Also present was Yang Behormat Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Dewa Dato Seri Setia Lim Jock Seng, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
