Dawn Talk

 December 25th, 2017  |  09:30 AM  |   1079 views

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN

One of the keys for a Muslim to achieve success and blessings in this world and the hereafter is to practise self-reflection. This can be interpreted as evaluating oneself in terms of the deeds and actions done related to Allah the Almighty or among fellow human beings. This was among the contents of dawn talk during the 'Masjidku Makmur, Negara Berkat' programme at the Omar Ali Saifuddien mosque early yesterday morning.

The talk entitled "Muhasabah Diri" or Self-Reflection was delivered by Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Aziz bin Orang Kaya Maharaja Lela Haji Yussof, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The talk also shared the benefits of self-reflection in everyday life, which among others include being able to endear oneself to Allah the Almighty by increasing the good deeds. The programme is an initiative to welcome and increase the participation of Muslim congregants in together glorifying the mosque in conjunction with the Bandarku Ceria programme.
