'Cinta Dan Kenali Rasulullah S.A.W' Exhibition

The sandal, turban, beard and sword of Prophet Muhammad Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam are among the artefacts of Rasulullah S.A.W and His companions showcased at the 'Pameran Cinta dan Kenali Rasulullah S.A.W' in conjunction with the Brunei December Festival 2017. The 3-week exhibition is held at the International Convention Centre in Berakas.

 

 

 

The exhibition was launched by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ali bin Apong, Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism. The exhibition provides an opportunity for the public to instil a sense of love towards the Prophet S.A.W recognise, embrace and appreciate the endeavours of Rasulullah S.A.W in upholding Islam. The exhibition also aims to make Brunei Darussalam as one of the Islamic-based tourism destinations by providing an additional slot in tourism packages to the country. Also present were Awang Wardi bin Haji Mohammad Ali, Acting Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism and Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Aziz bin Orang Kaya Maharaja Lela Haji Yussof, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

 

 

 

Aside from the exhibition, the Souq Sunnah sales expo is also held, together with other religious activities conducted by local organisations such as Al-Fatihah Clinic; Malam Mahabbah Rasulullah S.A.W and Muslimah series.

 

 

 

The exhibition is open from 9 in the morning until 10 in the evening. Entrance ticket is 10 dollars for each visitor aged 6 years and above, while entrance for children under 5 is free. The programme is organised by Avertu Management Services together with Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism through the Tourism Development Department and supported by the Youth and Sports Department, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.
