In celebrating students who have excelled in the Primary School Assessment Exam or PSR 2017, the Tumpuan Telisai Primary School in the Tutong district, this morning held a Graduation Ceremony for its Year 6 students. The ceremony was held at the hall of the school.

 

Dayang Nurul Khairunnisa binti Morni, the School's Assistant Headmistress in her welcoming speech said, a number of initiatives have been carried out by the Ministry of Education with the cooperation of the school in increasing the school's PSR passes percentage. Among the initiatives were organizing extra classes for core subjects every week and during terms school holidays. Meanwhile, a Pull Up Program was also held to assist students who need more observation and monitoring.

 

31 students who passed the PSR Examination with flying colours received their Certificate of Appreciation. Of the number, 22 students achieved Grades A until C with 70 point 9-7 percent. Meanwhile, the rest obtained Grades A until D, or passed all subjects. On hand to present the certificate was Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Ramli bin Haji Lahid, Member of the Legislative who is also the Penghulu of Mukim Telisai
