His Royal Highness Prince General Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince; Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office; and General of Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) received in audience the outgoing Commander of the RBAF, Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Major General Dato Paduka Seri Mohd Tawih bin Abdullah and the newly appointed Commander of the RBAF, Major General Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Aminan bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud. The audience was held at the Qashr Al-Meezan. Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Major General Dato Paduka Seri Mohd Tawih held his appointment as the 9th Commander of the RBAF since 30th February 2014. During his tenure as RBAF Commander, he was conferred decorations from Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand. Major General Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Aminan was the 9th Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Forces before appointed as the 10th Commander of RBAF. Throughout his career, he held various key appointments, including Aide-de-Camp to His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.
