A cat got into a fight with a snake that was already half-eaten by a toad.

In footage taken in Thailand, the cat, perhaps curious about this strange new creature, walks forward tentatively and bats the snake around the head.

What follows is an uncertain back-and-forth.

The cat plods forward and tries to investigate the snake and the snake hisses and lunges at the cat every time it gets too close.

Throughout all this, the toad just sits there, eating.
