The government continues to provide facilities to country's citizens and residents, especially to youths and senior citizens through the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.  The Bestari Community Centre, PMB which was officially opened in Belait District today is intended for community or other organised activities.  This was stated by the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports during the centre's launch at the Language and Literature Bureau Branch in Kampung Pandan in Kuala Belait. 

According to Yang Berhormat (Retired) Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan Bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, the centre is another achievement towards fostering close relations among the local community. Also present were Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Abdul Hamid bin Haji Mumin and Yang Berhormat Awang Hanapi bin Mohd Siput, Members of the Legislative Council, and Awang Abdul Hazis bin Haji Ahad, the Acting Belait District Officer.
