Yesterday morning, His Excellency Admiral Harry Binkley Harris Junior, Commander of the United States Pacific Command (U.S.P.A.C.O.M) made a visit to the Ministry of Defence at Bolkiah Garrison. This was His Excellency's first visit to the country since his appointment as the Commander of the United States Pacific Command on 27 May 2015.

Upon arrival, His Excellency was greeted Admiral Harry Binkley Harris Junior was welcomed by the Guard of Honour mounted by personnel from the Royal Brunei Land Force. His Excellency then made a courtesy call to Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Second Minister of Defence.

His Excellency also made a courtesy call to Major General Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Aminan bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces. His Excellency is in the country for 2-day state visit.
