The First Meeting of the 14th Session of the Legislative Council commenced yesterday morning with a Swearing-in Ceremony for 10 new Ex-Officio Members as Members of the Legislative Council. They are the ministers who were newly appointed on the 30th of January 2018.

The ceremony took place in the presence of Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Lela Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Rahman bin Dato Setia Haji Mohamed Taib, the Speaker of the Legislative Council. The 10 new Ex-Officio Members are;

Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Setia Bakti Di-Raja Dato Laila Utama Haji Awang Isa bin Pehin Datu Perdana Manteri Dato Laila Utama Haji Awang Ibrahim, the Special Advisor to His Majesty and Minister at the Prime Minister's Office

Yang Berhormat Dato Paduka Dr. Awang Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar,

Minister of Health

Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Paduka Haji Awang Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohd Daud, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office

Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Paduka Dr. Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Second Minister of Finance

Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd Yusof, Second Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade

Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Suhaimi bin Haji Gafar,
