His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to send a message of congratulations to His Excellency Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation, following His Excellency's victory in the recent presidential elections.

In the message, His Majesty expressed his warmest congratulations to His Excellency Vladimir Putin upon his recent victory in the presidential elections and wished His Excellency continued success in his new term of office. Furthermore, His Majesty looked forward to strengthening further the much-valued ties and to deepening the interaction in the many areas of mutual interest, both bilaterally and internationally. His Majesty ended the message by extending his kindest regards and best wishes to His Excellency Vladimir Putin.
