Legislative Council Members' Support Towards The Government Efforts

Throughout the 12 days meeting, various aspects of development in the districts were presented at the Legislative Council Session by appointed districts representative. In their adjournment speeches, members of the Yang Berhormat once again unanimously stated their support towards government efforts for the country's interest and development.

 

Yang Berhormat Pengiran Haji Ali bin Pengiran Maon in his adjournment speech called for the people to work together in protecting the prosperity and well-being as well as to support the government effort to develop the country.

 

Yang Berhormat Awang Naim bin Haji Kamis, in his adjournment speech voiced his support for the agriculture field to be developed.

 

Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Mohimin bin Haji Johari @ Jahari in his adjournment speech hoped that relevant agencies to make significant transformation in making corporative as a platform to unite Bruneian businesses and entrepreneurs.

 

In his adjournment speech, Yang Berhormat Pengiran Haji Mohamed bin Pengiran Haji Osman @ Othman, urged all level of community in the country to be sensitive on Brunei's economic situation and continue to support any government continuous effort. 

 

Full support for the ministries to achieve the objective of Wawasan Negara 20-35 was also touched in the adjournment speeches by appointed members from the Belait District. Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Abdul Hamid bin Haji Mumin hoped the ministries will achieve their objectives and residents in the district fully support such efforts.

 

Yang Berhormat Awang Hanapi bin Moh Siput in his adjournment speech, meanwhile, hoped that efforts in the implementation of the industry and agriculture field in remote area to be expedited in meeting the 2025 target and Wawasan Negara 20-35.

 

For appointed members in the Tutong District, effort in further intensifying the country's economic was among other matters touched in the adjournment speeches. Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Wahab bin Apong touched on the development of cottage industry and tourism. Yang Berhormat wished for the continuous effort including the strategy and quality standard.

 

Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Ramli bin Haji Lahit in his adjournment speech mentioned on the privatisation and corporatisation of the country's development.

 

Preparing the future generation by giving the youth the opportunity to venture in business was among the matters highlighted by appointed member from the Temburong District. Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Emran bin Haji Sabtu, in his adjournment speech said the future generation needs to be highly-spirit in balancing their life.
