The Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, in his adjournment speech among others touched on the Malay Islamic Monarchy, MIB concept. Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Paduka Haji Awang Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohd Daud, stressed that MIB is the binder and the country's defence against foreign ideologies.

Yang Berhormat called on the relevant parties to tirelessly strive to strengthen the practise and assimilation of the Malay Islamic Monarchy concept among the citizens and residents. Referring to His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's recent titah, which states that to be a leader, it is important to strengthen the practise of the MIB concept. Yang Berhormat added that all people, not just leaders, are urged to practise this concept to protect our integrity and authority as members of the society who contribute to the development of the country
