His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien,  Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to send congratulatory messages to His Excellency Mamnoon Hussain, President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and His Excellency Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Government as well as the people of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on the occasion of Pakistan Day.

In the message to His Excellency Mamnoon Hussain, President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, His Majesty expressed his great appreciation for the long-standing and valuable relations between the two countries and looked forward to opportunities to strengthen these ties and friendship and cooperation in the coming years.

In a similar message to His Excellency Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, His Majesty expressed his great satisfaction his great satisfaction for the friendly relations shared by both countries and looked forward to continue working with His Excellency to strengthen the bilateral cooperation and partnership in the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation and the Non-Aligned Movement.

In ending both messages, His Majesty sent his kind regards to His Excellency Mamnoon Hussain, President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and His Excellency Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
