​Some 150 participants from 10 Secondary School Scout teams in the Brunei Muara District took part in a 3-day Camping Programme starting today. The 'Back to Basic' Camp is held at the National Camping and Training Site of the Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association in Jalan Gadong.

The Programme organised by the Brunei Muara District Scouts Association with the cooperation of the Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association is hoped to give early exposure to the scout members especially new members on basic scout's knowledge and skills. Aside from instilling a spirit of volunteerism, such a camp is also hoped to shape the self-esteem of the participants in facing challenges in daily life.
