Thirty-two participants comprising IET members, Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) and Politeknik Brunei (PB) students, consultants and Brunei Association of Surveyors, Engineers and Architects (PUJA) members attended the visit with the objective to learn the technology and materials being used in constructing the bridge.

Whereas Awang Haji Mohamad bin Haji Tuah, Project Engineer for Sungai Kebun Bridge led the participants to the construction sites to have a closer look at the bridge and get a chance to view how the cable-stay is being installed and the cover being cut and jointed using special tools.
