The Women's Bureau of Kampong Kiulap Village Consultative Council is working together with the Brunei-Muara District Office to organise a charity bazaar sale from March 31 to April 3 at the Muara Beach.

According to the event organiser, 30 booths are available. They fall into three types: Category 1 - for the sale of clothing and fashion accessories, Category 2 - for the sale of food, drink and takeouts, and Category 3 for handicraft and other Village Consultative Council (MPK) products.

Members of the public are welcome to participate in various fun-and-game competitions, which include kite-flying, a tug-of-war and a burung murai (magpie-robin) singing contest.

The Brunei Darussalam Kite Association will also be showcasing and selling kites for $1 for the kite-flying competition.

Meanwhile, cat lovers are invited to display their pets at the Cat Show competition and win attractive prizes.

The bazaar will run from 8.30am to 6pm and will also feature mascot appearances, reptile show, rabbit show and bird show.

Proceeds from the sale will go to the Orphans' Fund and to the orphaned children of Kampong Kiulap.
