The Royal Brunei Police Force has advised the public to be on alert following complaints about telephone calls from foreign or unknown numbers believed to be false or suspected to be a fraud syndicate.

The calls include telephone numbers such as 41742773620 from Switzerland, 237800000631 from Cameroon and 442039361463 from the United Kingdom. The Police warns the public not to answer any call from unknown and suspicious foreign numbers. They also strongly advised not to provide any personal information such bank account numbers, password for online banking or their bank cards CVV Code to the callers.
