BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN

His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office last night watched the Singapore Premier League match between Brunei DPMM FC and Geylang International FC.

Also in attendance was His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah. Also present were His Royal Highness the Crown Prince's son, Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Muda Abdul Muntaqim as well as other members of the royal family. In the match, Brunei DPMM FC took advantage of playing on home turf by defeating the visiting side 4-1.

Brunei DPMM FC scored their first goal of the night in the 12th minute through Adi Said, before the visitors levelled matters 7 minutes later through Muhammad Noor Ariff. Brunei DPMM FC, however, were back in front 5 minutes later as a strike from Mojtaba Mollasaraei made it 2-1.

The match had to be halted 3 minutes into the second half by the referee due to bad weather. The home side, however, managed to pick up where they left off as soon as the match resumed, as Volodymr's quick fire double in the 53rd and 55th minute put Brunei DPMM FC 4-1 up.
