His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam arrived in the United Kingdom for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM). The 3-day meeting will end yesterday.

Present to greet His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam at Stansted Airport, London were Mr. Dennis George Wrench, Vice Lord Lieutenant; and Mr. Michael John Holloway, Special Representative of the Foreign Secretary. Also present to greet His Majesty's arrival were; Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Paduka Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd. Yusof, Second Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade; and Pengiran Hajah Rooslina Weti binti Pengiran Haji Kamaludin, Acting High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland. This year's theme for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) is "Towards A Common Future", which will focus on strengthening the Commonwealth that is more responsive towards global challenges to deliver a more prosperous, stable, sustainable and fair future for its' citizens particularly its' young people.
