His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, today arrived in the Republic of Singapore to attend the 32nd ASEAN Summit. This year's ASEAN Summit which carries the theme 'Resilient and Innovative' reflects the host country's vision of ASEAN as an association that is united in the face of increasing global challenges in the ASEAN region. The 32nd ASEAN Summit will gather the ASEAN Heads of State and Government in discussing dynamic and current matters for the well-being of communities.

Present at the VIP Complex, Changi International Airport, Republic of Singapore to greet His Majesty was Dr. Mohamad Maliki bin Osman, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Singapore. Also present to greet His Majesty were Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Paduka Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd. Yusof, Second Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade; and His Excellency Haji Awang Saifulbahri bin Haji Mansor, High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to the Republic of Singapore. His Majesty then boarded a motorcade towards a renowned hotel in the Republic of Singapore where His Majesty would reside throughout the duration of the 32nd ASEAN Summit.
