His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin  Waddaulah ibni Al Marhum Sultan Haji Omar Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to send a message of congratulations to His Excellency Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation, following His Excellency's re-appointment as the President of the Russian Federation.

In the message, His Majesty expressed his warmest congratulations to His Excellency Vladimir Putin upon his re-appointment and convey his satisfaction that the close friendship and valuable cooperation that exist between the two countries have continued to strengthened and looked forward to enhance these important ties in the years ahead. His Majesty ended the message by extending his kindest regards and best wishes for His Excellency Vladimir Putin good health and success in his new term of office.
