Her Excellency Halimah Yacob, the President of the Republic of Singapore is now in the country for a four-day State Visit. Her Excellency and spouse, Mr. Mohamed bin Abdullah Alhabshee; and delegation, arrived in the country this afternoon.

Present at the Brunei International Airport to welcome Her Excellency were Yang Berhormat Dato Paduka Awang Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sulaiman, Minister of Education as Minister-in-Attendance and Datin; Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohd Daud, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Datin; and Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd Yusof, Second Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

Prior to leaving the Brunei International Airport, Her Excellency the President of the Republic of Singapore proceeded to walk past a Static Guard of Honour mounted by the Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
