His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to send a message of congratulations to Yang Amat Berhormat Datuk Seri Dr. Wan Azizah binti Wan Ismail, on her appointment as the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia.

In the message to Yang Amat Berhormat Datuk Seri Dr. Wan Azizah, His Majesty expressed his confidence the Brunei Darussalam and Malaysia would be able to continue to uphold the warm friendly relations and close cooperation that had long been established for the mutual benefit and interest of both countries. In ending the message to Yang Amat Berhormat Datuk Seri Dr. Wan Azizah, His Majesty prayed that Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala would bless Yang Amat Berhormat Datuk Seri Dr. Wan Azizah and family with continued good health and happiness.
