The tahlil ceremony for the late parents of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien and Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit continue to be held by various parties.

Yesterday morning the Legislative Council held such a ceremony at the Royal Mausoleum. The reading of the tahlil was led by Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Lela Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Rahman bin Dato Setia Haji Mohamed Taib, The Speaker of the Legislative Council. Also present were members of the Legislative Council as well as officers and staff of the Department of Councils.
