The Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University, UNISSA, through the Publishing and Research Centre, PPP has organised a 2-day Journal Management Workshop in Open Journal System, OJS from yesterday. The closing ceremony and presentation of certificates was held yesterday afternoon.

Certificates were presented by Doctor Haji Norarfan bin Haji Zainal, Rector of UNISSA. 22 participants comprising UNISSA academic staff and government officers took part in the workshop. It was facilitated by Associate Professor Dr Roosfa Hashim, Publishing Director of Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Malaysia.

Earlier, the "Online Journal Ar-Ra'iq - A Refeered International Bi-Annual Journal Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali" was launched by the Rector of UNISSA. In order to go through current developments, UNISSA has begun transformation on its academic journal publications to enable the university's journal to have a high impact value and easily accessed. The workshop pioneers the way to achieve such desires by giving exposure on the use of OJS in journal publication in UNISSA.
