MTLA Will Be Dissolved On 1 July 2018

The Ministry of Communications has announced that the Motor Transport Licensing Authority (MTLA) will be dissolved on the 1st of July 2018.

 

Starting from the said date, its roles and functions will be placed under the Land Transport Department as the Commercial Vehicle Licensing and Public Transport Division. The dissolution is part of the Ministry of Communication's effort in updating and enhancing the Land Transport Department's administration. In this regard, all previous applications and matters under the MTLA will be carried out under the new Division.
