In the Tutong District, present at the ceremony to present the personal gifts as personal representative of His Majesty were His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, and Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Raabi'atul 'Adawiyyah binti Pengiran Haji Bolkiah.

The arrival of His Royal Highness Prince Abdul Malik and Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Raabi'atul 'Adawiyyah at the Main Hall, Tutong Civic Complex were greeted by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yusof, the Second Minister of Defence, and Yang Berhormat Dato Paduka Dr. Awang Haji Mohd Isham bin Jaafar, the Minister of Health and wives.

The ceremony began with the recital of Surah Al-Fatihah and Do'a Selamat led by Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Seri Utama Dato Paduka Seri Setia Haji Awang Salim bin Haji Besar.

At the ceremony, His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik and Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Raabi'atul 'Adawiyyah consented to present personal gifts of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam to 2 thousand 570 recipients of similar categories.

The bestowal of His Majesty's personal gifts is a clear indication of His Majesty's generosity and desire to see those who are in need for assistance to be supported and given due attention, especially in alleviating their burden during the upcoming Hari Raya Aidil Fitri Celebration.
