His Majesty's Bestowment Of Personal Gifts Ceremony At Istana Nurul Iman

​His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to bestow personal gifts to a total of Seven Thousand Five Hundred and Sixty Three (7,563) recipients of the underprivileged, comprising those with special needs, orphans, the poor and those who receive monthly welfare assistance in the Brunei Muara and Temburong Districts in conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya Aidil Fitri Celebration.

 

His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's Bestowment of Personal Gift Ceremony was the continuation of the ceremony held on Saturday, 9th of June 2018. Gracing the ceremony as the personal representatives of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam were His Majesty's sons and daughters-in-law.

 

Gracing the presentation ceremony for the Brunei Muara District as the personal representatives of His Majesty at Istana Nurul Iman were His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, and Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah binti Pengiran Haji Salleh Ab-Rahaman. Upon arriving at the Reception Hall of the Istana Nurul Iman, His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah and Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah, were greeted by Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Awang Abu Bakar bin Haji Apong, the Minister of Home Affairs and Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yusof, the Second Minister of Defence and wives. The ceremony commenced with the recital of surah Al-Fatihah and doa selamat led by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Imam Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Hamid bin Bakal.

 

At the ceremony, His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, and Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah consented to present the Personal Gifts of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam to Two Thousand, Six Hundred and Eighty Six recipients comprising those with special needs, orphans, the poor, and the recipients of monthly welfare assistance. The country's citizens and residents are very grateful to Allah the Almighty for blessing the country with a loving and caring Monarch who is always caring and mindful of the welfare and well-being of the needy.
