By the consent of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Penggawa Laila Bentara Istiadat Diraja Dalam Istana, the Grand Chamberlain has announced that in conjunction with this year's Hari Raya Aidilfitri Istana Nurul Iman will be open for three days, starting from the second day of Hari Raya from 10 in the morning until 12 noon and from 2 to 4 in the afternoon, to enable members of the public to have an audience with and convey their greetings to His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and members of the royal family.
