Collective wealth of wisdom among experts and stakeholders need to be articulated and shared in order to get the best solutions to the many challenges raised in the preliminary and exploration session and encourage the exchange of ideas but most important of all is 'walk the talk'. These issues need to be addressed and it has become imperative for the Brunei Malay Chamber of Commerce and Industry, DPPMB, to take an active role in monitoring the actions taken and those actions that still need to be taken.
Doctor Haji Kamaruddin bin Dato Seri Paduka Haji Talib, the President of Brunei Malay Chamber of Commerce and Industry shared the matter at the dialogue session of the 4th World Café 2018 themed "Accomplishing the National Vision", held yesterday afternoon at the Radisson Hotel in the capital. In-attendance was Yang Berhormat (Retired) Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. The World Cafe talk was presented by representatives from the Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University, UNISSA; Universiti Brunei Darussalam, UBD; Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College, KUPU SB; University Teknologi Brunei, UTB and DPPMB. The dialogue session bring forth the need for an inclusive, interactive and ongoing information sharing between the private sector and government authorities. It is a great open space to discuss ideas and find connectivity among common challenges, towards realising the socio-economic goals of the Wawasan Brunei 2035.
