Today marks the last day of Times Square Shopping Centre’s 9th Mini Carnival: DC Adventure edition.

The carnival has been ongoing since 23rd March 2016, in conjunction with the first term school holiday.

The event included competitions such as the coloring competition which was held on Sunday, 27th March 2016 at 11am to 1pm.

On the same day, there were two other competitions which included ‘My Little Pony Costume’ competition, as
well as Best Impersonator competition, both held at 4pm.

Prizes were presented by Madam Yolly to the winners of the top 3 winners of ‘My Little Pony’ costume competition whom were Husna Maghfirah, Kee Thien Kim Eve and Celestia Chiew Yu for first, second and third prizes.

The prize presentation then continued for the top 3 coloring competition. Winners of both competitions brought home merchandises sponsored by Best Eastern.

Moreover, winners for the Best Impersonator competition were also announced and prizes were given to Awangku Mohd Al-Mughni bin Pengiran Haji Abu Bakar as Link derived from Hyrule Warriors for the first place, bringing home a medal and $80 cash prize.

Mohd Syafwan bin Abdul Wahid came as Kurogin (Hollow design) and derived from Kurogin won second place bringing home a medal and $50 cash prize. Three other consolation winners were also presented with prizes.

All the winners received 2 Ultraman tickets each, which were sponsored by HCB Ultraman ticket.

Another highlight during the weekend was the Eating Competition, supported by Sugarbun, where five contestants had to battle to be the fastest eater during the competition.

The food provided were an 8 inch burger, 800 gram of rice and 8 pieces of drumsticks on Friday until Sunday respectively.

Winners walked away with an Ultraman ticket, sponsored by HCB Ultraman ticket. Quizzes and activities such as Musical Chairs were also carried out throughout the event.

Besides that, the mascots also made an appearance during the carnival to for photo opportunities. Other games were also conducted such as balloon poppers, Star Wars machine, basketball, dart game, ring toss and many more. So join us on the last day of the carnival at Times Square Shopping Centre for some fun and games!

Moreover, Times Square will also be holding several events in the near future. Such events include 4th Wedding Fair on 7th to 10th April, 2nd prize presentation of the Lucky draw on 15th May and Ramadhan Fair on 20th June until 5th July 2016.
