In several days, all citizens and residents of Brunei Darussalam will celebrate the 72nd birthday of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam on the 15th of this month.  In conjunction with the upcoming celebration, a  Kesyukuran ceremony, Mass Fardhu Maghrib and Isya' prayers, as well as the reading of Surah Yasin, Tahlil and Doa Kesyukuran will be held on the 14th of July. In regard to the matter, members of the public are welcomed to attend the function at all mosques, suraus, and religious halls nationwide, with the main focus at Jame' 'Asr Hassanil Bolkiah in Kampung Kiarong at 5.45 in the afternoon. A number of other mosques will also be the focus of the event.

In the Brunei Muara District, it will be at Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Mosque in the capital, Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque, Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam Mosque, Mohamed Bolkiah Mosque, Sultan Sharif 'Ali Mosque, Al-Muhtadee Billah Mosque, Setia Ali Mosque and the Perpindahan Lambak Kanan Mosque.

Meanwhile in Belait District, it will be at Muhammad Jamalul Alam Mosque, Kampung Pandan National Housing Scheme Mosque and Pekan Seria Mosque. Whereas in Tutong District, the focal point will be at Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque, and in Temburong District, it will be at Utama Mohammad Salleh Mosque.

Meanwhile, additional parking area and free shuttle bus service will be provided for the public's convenience to travel to Jame' 'Asr Hassanil Bolkiah in Kampung Kiarong, starting at 4.30 in the afternoon until 8.30 in the evening. The shuttle bus locations are at Taman Jubli Perak Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah parking area; Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien College parking area; Government department buildings parking area in Old Airport, Berakas; and at the Land Transport Department parking area in Beribi, Gadong.
