Letters Of Credence From Newly-Appointed Foreign Envoys To Brunei Darussalam

His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam received Letters of Credence from the newly-appointed foreign envoys to Brunei Darussalam. The ceremony took place at Istana Nurul Iman yesterday afternoon.

 

His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam received Letters of Credence from His Excellency Dr. Sujatmiko, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to Brunei Darussalam;

 

His Excellency Phonethavy Boutdara, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Lao People's Democratic Republic to Brunei Darussalam;

 

Her Excellency Yoon Hyun-bong, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Brunei Darussalam;

 

and His Excellency U Htin Lynn, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to Brunei Darussalam.

 

His Majesty then received in separate audiences the newly-appointed foreign envoys to Brunei Darussalam. His Excellency Dr. Sujatmiko, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to Brunei Darussalam previously served as Deputy Coordinating Minister for Women and Children Protection, Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Cultural Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia.

 

His Excellency Phonethavy Boutdara, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Lao People's Democratic Republic to Brunei Darussalam formerly held the post of Director-General of Press Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Lao People's Democratic Republic.

 

Her Excellency Yoon Hyun-bong, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Brunei Darussalam previously served as Chair of the Fair Trade Committee, Seoul Metropolitan Government, Republic of Korea.

 

Meanwhile His Excellency U Htin Lynn, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to Brunei Darussalam had served as Permanent Representative of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland.
